Tina Vindum, MS, CPT
Tina Vindum grew up in the breathtaking mountains of the Sierra Nevada. It’s no surprise that she developed such a passion for the outdoors. Tina grew into her role as a highly competitive athlete in skiing and inline skating, as well as winning a World Championship in mountain biking.
Tina has become the definitive expert in the field of outdoor fitness. Tina Vindum’s Outdoor Fitness is the only accredited outdoor fitness program in the US. Tina holds a Master of Science Degree in Kinesiology, and as an American Council on Exercise (ACE) faculty member, she delivers lectures and keynotes about the scientifically proven benefits of outdoor fitness. Additionally, Tina serves as an Advisory Board Member to “Girl Force Outside,” a Vanderbilt University Medical Center outreach program for girls. Tina often consults for fitness and outdoor companies such as Husqvarna and Gaiam, for product development and on camera instruction for DVD's.
Tina Vindum’s Outdoor Fitness curriculum is rooted in back-to-basics fitness, a philosophy of bodymind integration coupled with passion for the outdoors. Tina and her programs have been ubiquitous in national media outlets including SELF, Fitness, Prevention, Martha Stewart's Whole Living, Shape, San Francisco Chronicle, Real Simple, Los Angeles Times, New York Times, and countless others. The Guardian, London, has dubbed Tina the “Original Al Fresco Guru”.
